Race day for 2008 is May 10.

**All Race Volunteers signed up by race day and checked in will recieve an invitation to an after Race party.

VOLUNTEERS: Come out Monday April 28 for your assignment and to pick up your t-shirt so that we can save time and eliminate confusion on race day.

PRE-RACE:
Distribute flyers at races prior to the race
Present video at PTA meetings about the race

Set up : Friday before the race (6 people) and Saturday morning at 5:00 AM
(I know this one looks early, but we need a lot of help setting up tables and tents-15)

RACE DAY:

On-Site Registration and t-shirt distribution: (12 people)

Food Distribution (Bagels and Donuts): (6 people)

Stage Area: (4 people)

Barricade Areas: (Need lots of bodies, even students, great for service hours!!) (5 at turn around, one adult at each barricade- total of 30)

Water Stations: (Need lots of bodies here, too)-(Lions Club, Volunteer Dept., Boy Scouts, High School of the Arts)

Donation Table: (3 people)

Friday May 11 from 10:00 until 3:00 to set up

Sat May 12 from 10:30-12:30 for break down

Runners Shoot to help tear race tags and to keep ruuners in line.(6 people)
